Conference call    

This year, the Doctoral Student Association of the University of Pécs is organizing its professional event, the MedPécs Conference, which brings together young researchers from the fields of medicine and health sciences online. The purpose of the conference is to provide young researchers with the opportunity to present and discuss their scientific work in the field of health. The official language of the scientific sessions is English, but we accept a limited number of Hungarian presentations as well. We welcome both PhD students and graduate students with outstanding scientific work to apply for the conference.

GENERAL INFORMATIONS
Date of the Conference: November 22, 2024 (Friday) 
Platform: MS Teams

Registration

Registration and abstract submission deadline: October 20, 2024 (Sunday), midnight
Registration fee: 5.000 HUF/ person (both for oral presentation and poster presentation), which provides the opportunity to participate in the conference and to publish the abstract in an abstract volume with an ISBN number.
Registration fee payment: November 3, 2024 (Sunday), midnight
Registration becomes final upon payment of the registration fee, the progress of which will be communicated to all applicants at the provided e-mail addresses after receiving the abstract.

Poster presentation requirements:
In order to present the research, please have at least one of the authors available at the conference venue at the time indicated.
The planned time for poster presentations is 5 minutes (which includes the discussion).
We kindly ask the presenters to respect the time-limit.
Please prepare the poster as a one-page, portrait orientation PDF or as a .ppt or .pptx file edited in Microsoft PowerPoint without moving images.
You are free to use the attached templates to create your poster.

Formal requirements for scientific presentations:
Every presenter will have 15 minutes (10 minutes presentation and 5 minutes for discussion) to deliver their presentations.
Please make sure, that your presentation is no longer than 15 minutes since the conference's program is strict.
You are free to use the attached template to create your presentation.
